In this article, my first thoughts after reading it was that it was very opinionated and only had one side of thought to it. The article tells you how the Tokyo Olympics was and doesn’t let you leave it to your imagination. However it is also very informative and you learn an insight into the history of the games, and it is interesting to read about the contrast of the different spatial styles through the different years e.g. between the 1960 Olympics in Rome and the 1972 Olympics in Munich and then it reflects back to Tokyo and the symbolism of their culture.
